The Centre for Psychosocial Support and Education CareLink is organising a free of charge support program for caregivers living in remote areas distant from major urban centres.
Recognising the need for caregivers residing far from the country's major urban centers to receive support regarding their demanding role and to connect with others facing similar challenges, CareLink is organising the first free of charge online support program for both informal and formal caregivers.
The program will be implemented online from March 2026 through the end of the year and will cover a wide variety of topics, such as:
- Recognising the needs of a caregiver
- Accepting the emotional difficulties arising from a demanding daily routine
- Conflicts between the caregiver's role and other roles of daily life
- Useful tools for coping with emotional difficulties
- Sharing experiences among participants
The initiative will be conducted in collaboration with municipalities and social services in the North Aegean, Western Macedonia and Thrace regions, however, participations by caregivers from all regions of Greece is highly encouraged.
